Question withdrawling from oc

well I never would have believed I would ever be doing this but here goes. I'm 41 with what I have recently found out to be very bad lower back problem.Over the last 6 months or so I have been tossed around to different ortho doc's with no real answers except that for my age my back is shelled. Been on oc's now for only a few months and saw right away that they were too much fun.I just flushed 25 40's thinking I could stop cold turkey.withdrawing hard, no sleep in 4 days how long will this last?

Has is been 4 days since your last one? You only took them for a few months right? At 4 days you are almost over the worst of the physical w/d. Sleep is another story. I did not sleep for 3 straight days and 5 hours on the 4th day. Most people have the worst about 3 days in and slowly get better after that, but everyone is different. fatigue will last a while, so just accept you will be tired for a while. Cravings are also a lingering problem that last longer than the physical part. Have you tried to get a prescription or OTC sleep aides. Sonata, Ambian, Serax, restoril are some that will help you sleep.

This is very similar to my story.I fell fast and hard for these lil devils! I quit for 4 days and relapsed so I'm no help about the fifth day but here I ago again to! Be strong and know that you can overcome this. I agree that the cravings are very strong also!
Best of Luck to ya!

I'm definently not a person who hasn't experimented with hard dope, but I did grow up and now have much bigger goals to complete. That is if I can ever find a surgeon who will have the balls to take me on. Hopefully this next guy will fix me gooder than new.My wonderful wife did finally call my primary doc today for some sleeping pills.gonna pound a bud and watch Jerimiah Johnson and hopefully. The last thing I will say to you both is that I thank you from the bottom of my heart for responding to my &'s.I feel much better at this point. As for my upcoming discogram I hope its not as bad as i've heard.Peace be with you
