You can eat ginger. Don’t eat too much though, I couldn’t really tell you how much to have. If you’re unsure how much to eat ask a doctor. Fishermen eat ginger bars for motion sickness, and they usually sell them places that people fish at.

Have you tried just Pepto Bismol? For the past 2 weeks or so I have been getting very nautious for no apparent reason, like car sickness or something although I didn't have to be in the car. But I would also get it in the car even worse. I just took 2 table spoons of Pepto Bismol and it was gone.

Ginger - excellent suggestion. Wish I'd remembered that.

Thanks for your replies everyone. I've never tried ginger, so I'm going to do that. I used Dramamine on the flight to Italy last year, it didn't work! A friend who also gets really travel sick told me that her doctor often prescribes Dramamine, but it's a stronger dose than the over-the-counter packet, so I'll try that too.
Once again, thanks to everyone who took the time to reply. I'll let you all know how I got on!

Hi Tully! I got a doctor to prescribe me something, it was called Meclizine. It worked for me. Good Luck http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/bang.gif
