Princess (you gotta love the name),
Welcome. As Phil said, please get a handle on the addiction issues now. If you don't, they will only get worse and be an albatross around your neck for the rest of your life.

What is it that is making it difficult for you to stay clean right now????

I look forward to hearing more from you,
verylucky

Are you into role playing? I think im going to change my name to KingRulerOfMyOwnSickUnderWorld.

Well welcome to the board. I also have ADHD and BPD along with OCD and a whole bunch of other letters http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/rolleyes.gif. Ive been on a bunch of meds for it, Zyprexa seemed to work the best for BPD but I cant take THAT anymore. I've also started pretty young with drugs too, ive been a pretty steady and devote heroin and cocaine user since age 14. One questions though, do you feel your ADHD is that big of an obstruction to be on MethadateCD? Just your thoughts.

I know addiction is bad and the earlier its dealt with the better. It runs in my family and I really don't wanna end up like some of my family members. Grown up with no job just using all day long not caring about anything or anyone else.

As for why its so hard to stay clean right now... well I'm just really stressed because of school plus my doctors been messing with my medications and dosages and it's making me feel wierd. Today I don't really feel like I need anything to calm me down. When I wrote my first post and said I was having a very hard time staying clean basically I just hadn't slept in a long time and I just wanted something to help me relax. But I got some sleep so I feel a little better.

Well umm if I don't take my medications as prescribed then I'm not allowed to live here, and I really don't wanna be homeless. I don't like taking any medications, does that mean I don't really need 'em?

P.S. The metadate CD is a new med. I was on concerta on a short time. When I was younger I was on ritalin and dexedrine. Between then and recently I have been on tons of different meds. Most of them werent stimulants.

I guess my ADHD is bad enough for me to have to take something for it. When my ADHD isn't under control I pretty much act like Im manic, even when Im not. And then if I was manic and my ADHD was acting up too oooooooh that would be bad. I did take strattera for a bit but that had some bad effects on me. I've never been addicted to any of my meds. A lot of people in NA are really against the use of stimulant medications... If there was something else that might work I would definantly be willing to try it.
