night sweats in neck area

Almost every night I have night sweats, in the neck area, and my pillow will be wet. Does anyone have this problem and what can you tell me about it? It is very annoying and when I mentioned it to my doctor, he thought it could be due to my diabetes. I am a Type II, non-insulin dependent diabetic. I have had this sweating problem for a few years, even though I am post menopausal. I had heart surgery 4 months ago....quadruple by-pass and an aortic valve replacement.My medications include Coumadin, Cardizem and Glucophage.
I would appreciate comments and information on this sweating problem.

hello I do the same thing. and from your post the only thing i can see that we have in common are type 2 diabetes and glucophage so i wonder if thats it!
