Bextra?

My doctor put me on bextra for swelling in my foot because of a tumor. I start this tuesday and stopped it thurday. I was having major side affects that were not listed. I felt like I was in outer space at times and I could not go the entire day without a nap (this is hard to do with 4 kids at home). My asthma also started to flare up but it hard to tell if is was the meds or the wheather. Any one else have a hard time with this med? I did call the doctor yesterday and they said they would call soem thing else in, as of last night nothing else was called in. I did like that I had no pain but the bad outwayed the good with this medication.

Kelly I took bextra for foot pain. It tore up my stomach and made me feel spaced-out also. I hated it!!

The doctor gave me about 12 sample packs. I think I will throw them away, and just take tylenol. Also I took vioxx for ovarian cyst pain. This med worked well for me. Reading the back of the box scared me, but I only took it for 2 weeks.

I took Bextra for TMJ and I know I was taken off it after about 3 weeks but I never had the severe side effects you are experiencing.

I tried Celebrex and Vioxx too. Then he put me on Mobic and I was on that for about 8 months. I was told to stop taking it about a month ago. It wasn't bad for pain.
