Question Hydrocodone

Hi,

I started hurting in my face this morning due to 2 Teeth.I took a Hydrocodone and man I feel terrible!!!When I take them it feels like Im moving in slow motion.They really dont make me drowsy,just make me feel bad and like Im gonna crawl thru my skin.

Anyone else had a similiar incident with this Medication?

What mg are you taking? And reactions will be different for different people. When I take it I get energy for 2-3 hours then I get tired and sleepy.

I get that too Jas. I can't take anything with codeine, it makes me loopy. If you're still in a lot of pain or you ever get tooth pain again; try taking 4 advil or any generic ibuprofen. That is the presciption strength (800mg). The dentist suggested this to my husband one time and it worked very well on his severe toothache.

Jas -

Hydrocodone is Vicodin and you just may be allergic to it. You might want to try Tylenol.

Unfortunately, it is quite common to feel like this after taking any meds with codeine in. Stop taking it and try something else.

If it makes you feel like that, it does not mean that you are allergic to it at all. It is normal for lots of people to have that spaced out feeling.
