We have a great many people using the advair discus right now and none have noticed any side effects that I am aware of. Elderly people are often at risk for increased side effects and none of our patients have had a problem with the advair so far.

Thumbs up

Before my husband used Advair discus he had constant asthma attacks. He could not go down our basement or even change the vacuum cleaner bag. Twice at my parents house at Christmas time we spent in the hospital. The last time we visited them he was fine while on the advair.

He has not had an asthma attack since he has been on it. GREAT STUFF.

I quit using Advair b/c I was constantly getting "thrush"-which is a yeast infection in the mouth. I did everything as I was told-I always rinsed and gargled with Listerine every time I used it, but I was not able to keep the yeast from forming in my mouth. I was constantly on meds to get rid of it. Hope this helps.
