Well everyone, I just got home about an hour ago from the doctor's office. I saw the P.A. again today, and I was also given 4 TPI's while I was there. My left hip is still hurting some, but the pain from the block has subsided quite a bit. They are wanting to do it again for the left SI joint, and they also are going to set me up to have my right side done.
About my prescriptions, my insurance offers a mail-order prescription thing, and even though I agreed to use just one prescription, Rita (The P.A.) agreed to call in all of my medications to them excluding my Dilaudid. I again, was not upped on the Dilaudid, but whatever. Anyway, now my prescriptions will only cost me $5 a piece which is tons better... She's calling in the Lidoderm patches, Gabitril (which I was upped to 12mg today instead of 8mg), Zoloft, Axert, and Zanaflex... Those were all pretty expensive, but now for a 3-month supply, I'm only having to pay $5 each.
Anyways, I need to go put more ice on my 4 TPI sites...Then put heat on it...
Then I have to study for my 3 exams that I have tomorrow.
Thanks everyone for checking up on me.
Love you guys much!
Crystal

Crystal,
I am glad to hear that you are doing better! I am going to the hospital at 8am tomorrow morning for my second set of ESI and nerve block (on the right side).
I tried taking the new medication (Percocet 10/325). I don't like them at all. They certanly help with the pain but they make me VERY sleepy. I think I will ask to stick with the Norco.
Anyway, I just got my home PC working. I usually am on my work laptop but discovered this morning that computers and diet Pepsi do not go well together! Opps!! I had to overnight it to our headquarters in Ohio to be reapired. So, I figured I'd better get my home PC working since I will not be doing much after coming home from the hospital tomorrow morning.
I will let ya know how it goes!

Av,
I hope all goes well with the second esi and block. I'm also going to have another block done soon, but I haven't been notified of the time as of yet. I will be called sometime soon, probably in the next couple of days to find out when I'll be going in. She said (The P.A., Rita) that if my right side feels better soon, and I don't feel I need the second, that I should cancel. But in the meantime, I'm going to get it scheduled in case it doesn't get better...
Anyway, I have been extremely dizzy today, and I don't know why. I don't know why the TPI's would cause dizziness, but I can't think of anything else that would cause it besides my meds, but they have NEVER done that to me before.
I'm so dizzy...It's driving me crazy.... It's not just dizzy though, it's drowsy too. I feel like I can hardly keep my eyes open, but on top of that, when I close my eyes, everything spins like crazy. It did it so bad earlier, it made me throw up.
Well, I need to get some sleep so I can get up and go to class in the morning, then study before my 3 exams.... Hope things go wonderful, I'll be praying for you, sweetie!
Good night hunny!
Much love,
Crystal Rose...

Well, I called about my refill today, and they called me back shortly and said that I would be allowed to begin taking up to 2 of my 2mg tabs, and then if I do okay on the 2, they will up my dosage to the 4mg tabs next time. So hopefully more relief is on the way! Well, I just wanted to update you guys! And I know I'll do fine taking 2 pills, because after I spoke with the nurse, I took 2 of my pills and I actually got some more relief than normal...So yay for me
Much love guys,
Crystal

Crystal,
Glad to hear you are doing better!!
I made a mistake today. Wednesday night was BAD. The local anesthetic from the injections wore off and I could not even walk. But, I woke up this morning and felt really good. So, I cleaned house today. Got on a MAJOR roll. Picked up, organized, folded clothes, did dishes.... now, 6 hours later, I am PAYING FOR IT. Bad mistake. I should know better. I feel worse right now than I did Wednesday night. But, I just took 2 Norcos so hopefully they will kick in. I actually felt so good earlier today that I did not need ANYTHING!!! Is that amazing or what? So then I go and over-extend myself just to mess it all up again. What an idiot!
