I am a mother of two and very young and I have started feeling this way since about two years ago since I have been haveing daily tension headaches but mine is so bad that when mine kids whine for more than a few minutes I start shaking and feel the need to run so I end up taking a Klonopin as soon as I feel this way. I have a two year old and a seven year old and I am starting to get to were I cant even stand the sound of almost everything. I have no cure but you are not the only one and it is crazy how this is sudden for me but the sounds are just amplified and I would like a cure to .
Good Luck,
Kell

hey wow, this is a cool topic.
my big hates:

tap tappety tapping on a computer keyboard
eaty noises. (like hoosier I can't stand the sounds of people eating) creates instant fury.
newspapers being rattled.
Any noise when I am trying to concentrate.

Yes, sounds drive me crazy too!! I hate people chewing food and gum. And how about 100 people chewing popcorn in a movie theater?!

But even worse for me than these repetitive type noises are constant noises. I hate the sound of machines humming, like computers. The buzzing of florescent lights too. Outside of my bedroom at my apartment there are a ton of heaters and AC units. They are constantly humming.

But even when there's silence, I can then hear a ringing in my ears. So there's no getting away from sounds
