Laryngopharyngeal reflux - LPR

I have been diagnosed with LPR - stomach acid reflux in my throat and an interested in sharing treatment options and any information other people have who have this disease. I am taking Prevacid to reduce the stomach acid and am very frustrated with the time it is taking for my throat to heal. Have heard that this disease takes twice as long to heal as acid reflux that causes heartburn. Does anyone else on this board have this? Thanks for your input.
