Question Head pressure

I get these pressure sensations that run from the roof of my mouth to the top of my head. There are also times when I get cold chills on the back of my brain. The doctors say that it is allergies that is creating the pressure and have given me allegra and beconase, but they don't do anything for the pressure. I have no other signs of allergies, such as runny or stuffy nose, itchy eyes. Has anyone felt this before?

hey lee,

i definitely have those feelings of pressure. I'm not too sure about the pressure behind the brain. I do feel that at times it feels like something is crawling inside my scalp. I've been dealing with this for a few years now and for me the culprit is definitely sinus and allergy problems. The best thing i have found if your problem is allergy related is to find an antihistimine that works good for you and ask your doctor about a prescription decongestant with guafenisen; i've found that these gets rid of some of the pressure. Anyway, the best of luck on finding your solution,

Kris

Hey guys,
I've been hanging out in the Inner Ear message board but thought I'd check out allergies. I listed my symptoms there that I have dealt with. The pressure thing you are talking about I have experienced too. Yes, I do think it is due to allergies too but my question has always been what is causing my body to become sensitive. So cause rather than just effect.
I am not feeling too well right now, as my head is feeling FULL. In the past I had this same prob and what I discovered after several months of suffering and trying various things to deal with the allergies, was a cleansing system addressing more than just the allergies.
Go to www.awarecorp.com and check it out. I used the products for a few months and my head cleared up and I felt less tired too.
It's interesting information and it does speak of allergies in their literature.
Hope this info. may be of interest to you. Take care.

Has anyone had an xray to determine if there are physical obstructions? That can cause a hell of alot of pressure especially in combination with allergies. Sorry if I've said this a million times all over these boards, but I can only speak on what I've experienced and hope it helps someone
