Question Which topical medicine is best to fade scars?

I have lots of scars on both sides of my jaw, and am desperately trying to find the best topical stuff to help fade the scars asap.

Is it retin-a micro? Cleocin? Tazorac? Duac gel?

Thank you very much, greatly appreciate any help.

Try Mederma, it's a topical gel. It's definitely fadded my scars, and evened out an indentation where I was having reoccuring acne. You have to be patient with it, but I only applied it 1x a day because I couldn't use cover-up over it, so I just put it on before bed. It recommends using 3-4x a day. Good luck!

man u gotta be more specific, some ppl think scars are the red/brown marks left by acne (they aren't) and some ppl think indentations (dents in the skin) are scars (which they are true acne scars)

Hi Jason,

For red/dark areas I still swear by Finacea gel(azelaic acid) available by prescription. Using it for 6 months and will continue to. Good luck to you.
