Anyone familiar with Clorpromazine?

Ok, guys, I did it. Today is cold turkey day. After five years of Vicoden abuse, today is the day. My doc gave me some scripts to help ease the Withdrawel symptoms. They are:

Lorazepam (Ativan) 1 MG
Ibuprofen 400 MG
Chlorpromazine 25 MG.

I'm familiar w/ everything except the Chlorprmazine. Has anyone had any experieces with this? Any information would be helpful. I am scared. sometimes i just don't want to go on without that stupid drug that has ruined my life. I can't picture life without it! But I can't keep taking it, i know. ARGGHH! I don't know how to get through this. If anybody out there could respond, I would really appreciate it! Please, I need help. Thanks.

Congratulations a making the first and most crucial step! Way to go! Sorry~ I have no knowledge of the last drug you are inquiring about~ I would love to find out what it is as well. I wish you the very best~ I have been there. Remember, each day will be a little better than the next. Just buckle down and gut in out through the first 72 hours (that is normally when physical withdrawals are at their worst)! Three days is not too bad~ you can do this! Post away for support and encouragement and cling to the thought that you will no longer be the slave of a little white pill! My prayers will be with you. God give you strength and faith! Thanks Michelle! You are such a sweetie! I WILL do this. That's what I am so tired of, a little pill controling my life. I can not keep going this way. If you don't mind me asking, what is you experience with this stuff? You don't have to tell me if you don't want to, nothing personal, I just like hearing other peoples stories. How long have you been clean? What was your drug of choice? What were your experiences? It helps so much to know that others have gone through this and come out ok, you know? Let me know how you are doing...I will keep you in my thoughts. be strong, keep me updated.
