I have just switched my BCP from OTC-Lo back to Apri (generic of desogen). I thought OTC-Lo was working, but after seing pics of myself from a party this weekend, it hasnt done jack!! I was 100% clear & flawless for a year up until about 4 months ago when I broke out again. I thought it was ProActiv that had cleared me and then maybe it stopped working. When I looked back and put pieces together, I realized that I was on Apri that whole time which might have been the reason my face was clear. After I broke up with my BF in April, I went off BCPs because I figured whats the point? I tan at a salon in the summertime (not for acne purposes... I just dont like being pasty white 365 days a year) and started in April, but right after I stopped in August thats when my ance came back with a vengence! I think maybe the tanning supressed it after I got off the pill... but when I didnt have eather factors (BCP & tanning) there was nothing to help my skin. Has anyone else had luck with Apri or Desogen?
