Does this sound like a sinus infection?

Hi,
I have been having a constant dull headache for a month now. I also recently started having some sinus drainage in the back of my throat. I went to my Dr. on Fri.-he said I have a sinus infection and prescribed me Amoxil. I haven't had a fever, discharge from my nose, or pressure in my face(all of the typical sinus infection symptoms). I have pressure in my neck/throat, top of my head, ears, and temples. And, now also have some drainage down my throat. Does this sound like a sinus infection?

Im not an expert or anything but it sounds to me like you could have one. Normaly you do have discharge from your nose and preassure in your face but sometimes those symptoms don't occur until a little while later.

I've been in contact with quite a few people, in several health forums, who have chronic sinus infections. Each one can have different symptoms.
