Question alternative to allegra/antihistimines?

Hi all.

My insurance is being switched on Jan. 1 and the new rx program doesn't cover any antihistimines (allegra, etc). I have pretty severe seasonal allergies and have begun receiving allergy shots. I also have mild asthma. Currently my meds include allegra 180mg, singular 10mg, nasonex 2squirts/1xday, pulmicort 2puffs/1x day and maxair as needed.

Has anyone had success with allergy treatement without antihistimines? I have tried Claritin in the past with no success.
