Could I be anemic?

I had mono in the end of January.. some type of seizure problem in early june.. Im now on Trileptal to control those.. August 1st I got my first dose of Depo-Provera birth control injection.. In the past 5 days or so Ive been experiencing headaches, fatigue, weakness, pale, the bags under my eyes have gotten worse, and most of the time when I go from sitting to standing up I get really bad headrushes.. More than i use to, about 2 days ago I woke up and i was having trouble breathing, like i really had to focus on it, i could feel my heart poudning in my chest,a nd i also had some chest pain every now and then.. Ive had tests in the past for heart problems and everything was normal.. The doctor ran no blood tests but my lungs and everything seemed normal when he listened to them.. Ive also lost weight.. Does this sound like I could be anemic? I had a test ran on me to see if i was anemic in early june.. but it was negative.. is there anyway I could have developed it now or is it something thats always with you? Could this be anemia? Id really appreciate some opinions.. Thanks so much!!!

I forgot to add-- I also get little bruises that I dont remember getting in different places on my body.. I am very clumsy and bump into many things,lol, But some of the places I get these bruises are places I dont see how I could have bumped into something and gotten, So im not really sure of that either.. :-/

I'm anemic, and I know the symptoms I had *and have still, but not as much since I've been taking my iron* are fatigue *slept from 9-7,had skewl and then 4-8* and dizzyness *fall over a lot after getting up, stagger when I'd walk sometimes* But i dunno if what you have been experiencing are symptoms

Some of the symptoms you describe could be related to anemia or to a lot of other illnesses or drug side effects. The easiest way to know is to ask your doc for a blood test. The hard part is figuring out why, if you are anemic.

I am new here and even though i am not a doctor i have been involved with the brain and other neurological studies throughout my life.

I have found that vertigo can sometimes lend to anemia. If you are experiencing dizzy or faintness you may want to get tested for vertigo. Just a thought.
