Max Stamina and BP Meds

I have been taking Zestril and Toprol XL for 3 months and notice that
the " lead in not as sharp in my pencil" since taking these rotten drugs.
Previous to the meds I bought Max Stamina about 6-7 months ago and was very surprised at how good it worked. I used it recreationaly.

On the warning it says that if you take BP Meds you should not take this product.

Why?

Is it safe for me to take?
The meds I'm on are not nitrate drugs.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
TIA

Re: Max Stamina and BP Meds

I've been on Zestril, but I don't know about Toprol XL. Since you are under a doctor's care, tell him about your concerns and ask for a trial of an ED medication (Viagra, Levitra, Cialis). I use Apcalis, the Cialis generic, and have been quite pleased with the results.

I don't know what's in Max Stamina that would cause them to put on that kind of warning, but why risk it? Better yet, take the bottle of Max and show it to your pharmacist. He knows best about drug interactions and can give you a knowledgeable opinion.

Here's to putting the lead back in your pencil!

Re: Max Stamina and BP Meds

Thanks for the reply.
I read on this or another website that these helper supplements can be used with Toprol.
I was'nt sure about the ZestrilAnd interactions.

Hopefully I will get a few more responses from others that are familiar with Max Stamina.
I do know that it has a little bit more in it than Stamina RX,but the active ingredients are the same.

Re: Max Stamina and BP Meds

Zestril is hypertension medicine and in the class of ace inhibitors. I presently take Altace which is also an ace inhibitor. My doctor told me that ace inhibitors are less likely to have sex side affects as the other class of drugs for hypertension. Now the toprol xl is a beta blocker (class) that may result in a greater degree of problems with causing some sexual problems. I still have some problems maintaining an erection and he gave me a free sample of Viagra (50mg) and told me to start with half a pill. It worked great and I had no side affects. He gave me a script which I have filled. Expensive, since my insurance won't cover them. I have since reduced the dosage to a quarter of a tablet. It is tough to split but I got a pill splitter. The quarter (12.5 mg) works great and so does the pill splitter. This has been my experience, for what it is worth. I would also recommend that you talk to your doctor to see if it ok to try a ED medication.
