i have read the "pro's and con's" of these medications and am still concerned and confused, as i REALLY dislike taking "drugs/chemicals." have any of you girls tried and used these ?

Which arthritis drugs are you asking about???? I take fosamax for osteopenia since HRT wasn't doing enough for me and now I have stopped the HRT. I'm also on MTX and prednisone for the arthritis. Have taken numerous NSAIDS over the last 2 years. If you could be more specific on your question perhaps you could get the information you want.
