Re: Singulair

I've taken singulair for my allergy pron asthma; and it did work great, but unfortunaly I was one of the lucky few who got a weird and somewhat uncommon side effects. I couldn't sleep when I took it, because it made me wired and jumpy, the same thing happens with advair and my recuse inhaler. Also I had the weird side effect of bad day and night dreams. I've never had anything like that befor in my life, but lets just say it makes Stephen King novels childs play. I would wake up in cold sweats, have bruses all over my body b/c the dreams where very life like. I would kick and scream and all kinds of things. So I looked up the side effects and saw loss of sleep, along with night mares. So I got off it. I must say the week that I was on it my Breathing was the best it had been since I ever soo lil(have had meds since i was 4), so if you dont get the side effects it a VERY good MED.

Re: Singulair

Debater_gurl, I'm sorry to hear of your side effects to the singulair, though it's curious to me that it helped. Have you tried accolate? It's in the same category in singulair, in that it's a lukotriene modifier. It's a pill you take twice daily. It may be something to talk with your doctor about.
