Augmentin for acne

I was prescribed Augmentin a few times last year for sinus infections but I don't think I really noticed a difference in my skin.

I've been on Augmentin 2 weeks for a sinus infection. Haven't noticed any diffference in my skin, although I am getting a rash on the back of my neck whhich I normally only get from wearing metal necklaces. Probably unrelated.

It took a couple of months for me to see any difference in my skin. Then I was pretty clear (like 75%) for about three months after that.

I take it back ... I think my skin might be a little more clear. Hard to say if it is the Augmentin, though, since I also started using a masque more often.

Oh, for those wondering why Augmentin might work when other antibiotics don't, my allergist says that's because it's simply stonger. He said it's "the nest step up" from amoxycilin.
