Hi all, I was diagnosed 7 yrs. ago with RA. Its been a battle but I wont let it get the best of me. I have been thru mtx, arava, asulfadine, vioxx, celebrex, HRT, and now enbrel. I had 2 nodules and finally found a surgeon that would remove them. Now I have another on my wrist. I have a lot of pain but its probably my fault since I am not meticulous about taking meds. I actually lost 10 lbs. since stopping work by diet and forcing myself to go on treadmill. I also smoke but that is the next big battle. My doc is rapidly losing patience with me. But I am going to start taking enbrel religiously, quit smoking and exercise as much as I can and see what happens. I have a lot of things I still want to do and I wont let anything stand in my way.

I was recently diagnosed with RA early this year. I have been on mtx, vioxx, cellebrex. Presently I take plaquinil, mobic, prednisone. I have eraser like rash on my shins and forearms. I just started the plaquinil last week and upped my dose this week when I discovered the rash. I have a call out to my rheumy but I think it is from the meds at least I hope so. It is gross. Good thing capris came back in style.
