The best anti nausea, heartburn otc??

Good day, Can anyone tell me what is the best anti-nausea over the counter drug on the market. I wake up sick probably 4 mornings every week. I'm not going to be able to make it to the doctor for atleast another month. Sometimes i get nausea during the day. I don't even know how to describe my problem my friend says it sounds like heartburn. I've done research on heartburn I still don't know. Nothing has really said that nausea is a sign of heartburn but i don't even know if i'm feeling nausea or if I think its nausea because my stomach feels upset. Or it my sickness may be coming from dental problems. Anyways until i find out whats wrong does anyone know of any good otc that can help me? Also anyone know how long it takes to go in affect? My father had some cvs brand of what i assume is pepto bismol and I can't tell if it works or not because i usually feel better after an hour. I don't know if that's how long it takes for it to go to work or if that's just when i start feeling better. Also I have to drink it several times a day. Thanks

Hi
You may not find it written anywhere, but I can assure you that heartburn or overacidity can indeed cause nausea.

A good otc tablet is Zantac.
In Au we can get 28 tabs of 150 mg and need to take 2 a day. They advise before bed.

best wishes

when i had nausea after surgery they told me to take pepcid ac. it didn't help me but it was because i had other problems but since the dr. recommended it, thought it might be worth a try for you.

Also try varying your diet. One thing that never entered my mind as causing my heartburn/nausea was peppermint. I was about living on Breathsavers and gum. Who would have thought? I finally went to the doctor, and found I had an advanced case of GERD (before anyone had ever heard of GERD). I've been able to control it over the years with diet and zantac. I now know what foods/beverages to totally avoid.

Good luck. I know how miserable feeling barfy all of the time can be.
