Make sure you do not have Pernicious Anemia, and Subacute combined degeneration. (Low B12) Look it up on the internet and read about it. Sounds simple and is but it causes degeneration of the whole nervous system. The symptoms you describe are all the same ones I had in the begining. Later I even had numbness all over my body except the terrible freezing feeling and pins and needles. Too many things to mention here. Please read up and get a simple blood test to rule it out. Simple B12 shots will get you back on the road to recovery except for any nerves that are completely gone. Good luck
I have posted this same reply several times. I had Subacute combined degeneration and one of the first things I had was high stress, pressure in my face, I thought I was having sinus infections. I started stuttering and couldn't concentrate. I couldn't remember what I wanted to say either. I also had a quick change in my vision for the worse. Please read up and Please get tested.

... like having 'gulf war syndrome?'

Note this prior post

These symptoms are very familiar to me, as I have studied a common cleaning/degreaser chemical, 2-butoxyethanol. The harm ranges from central nervous system damage to blood damage (one type of hemolytic anemia says not to be in the cold - odd, right?) Also there is concern for endocrine disruption, kidney and liver.

There might not be too much that can be done for it, but it is important to be an educated consumer, and not re-expose yourself to it (Lysol tub 'n tile; 409 cleaner; gun cleaner, too? ... many, many products) Using eye goggles, gloves; working in a ventilated area (equivalent to out of doors) would be helpful, when you do use such products.

AND getting an accurate diagnosis for the blood anemia. You might need to have your doctor consult with a hematologist & do a RETIC ratio test for starters. RBCs seem to come in borderline normal, and Docs don't look further, but if the red blood cells are dying off prematurely, and the bone marrow is still putting out immature red blood cells, then they won't notice it for a long time in the RBC counts.

Re: severe brain fog, fatigue, can't concentrate, focus or talk right..what is wrong?

hi all,i have benign intracranial hypertension but b4 i was diagnosed i had terrible sinus problems, which since getting bih 2 years ago have gotten easier.Bih is connected to sinus problems and is a over production/under absorption of the csf fluid that protects your brain, this causes pressure and alsorts of central nervous system probs from excruciating headaches, pins and needles, slur speach, short term memory loss, dizziness, fatigue, sickness, naseau,t ransient visual loss, papilledema, neck and backache ect ect ect
its a rare disorder and also goes under the names of idiopathic intracranial hypertension and pseudotumor cerebri. all mri/ct scans will come back normal and the only true way to diagnose is thru a lumbar puncture to test your pressures, yes,it is uncomfortable but is also therapuetic as drainage will ease symptons temporarily.many of u sound to have similar symptons ,so if u have i urge u to push for a lp,as bih undiagnosed will also take your site, mine is perm damaged now as it took 12 months to diagnose.i hope this may help some of u in sum way.

Maybe more going on, too?

In addition to the diagnosis you have, you comment on severe sinus problems and fatigue (not exactly related, right?) Where are the headaches located? How severe are they?

I ask some more questions, because regardless of the assorted diagnosis for Central Nervous System damage, there can be enough other odd symptoms, like joint pain and various endocrine disruption stuff ... that you might actually be describing the 'gulf war syndrome' Also the same for those who clean up oil spills, clean, use paint, etc Have you done any of these things? Or have some of the other 'symptoms?'

There might be a bigger picture here that needs looking into.
