Question prescriptions

i went to the dr last week and she prescribed differin gel, but i had some complications w/ my insurance so i havent filled the differin gel yet, but prior to this i was on clindamycin topical for 4 yrs and my face was crytal clear then about a yr and a 1/2 ago it stopped working. so last week my face looked really bad because of that time of the month so i decided to start using my clindamycin again that i had left over. this week my face is really improving. could the imunity to the clindamycin have worn off? if the clindamycin can work again i really dont want to use the differin gel how should i go about telling my dr about this? should i call and tell the nurse? i go back in month.....my daily rountine for about a week:

morning:
wash cetaphil
neutrogena multi-vitamin lotion
clindamycin applied to a q-tip then apllied to the face

nite:
same as morning

if i wear foundation i use my neutrogena oil free cleanser w/ salicyic acid.

anyone have any suggestions about the clindamycin?
thanx

Re: prescriptions

Hi:
I'm using both the Differin and Clin. I use the "dabber" type of clin in a bottle I just dab on my face. The clin has done wonders for me but since I'm using both it's hard to tell which has done the job. I actually prefer to use the clin. If you start the Differin you more than likely will have the initial breakout and let me warn you it's horrible. Once your skin goes through this it's like smooth sailing from there on. (At least for me) I use the Differin every other day and Cleocin the same way. I only wash once a day now. Good luck.
