anyone else on low-ogestrel?

I was diagnosed with adynomyosis 2 months ago and my dr prescribed desogen to take nonstop throughout the month to stop my periods for 3 months, then I am supposed to have a period then go another 3 months w/out a period. I took the desogen for a month and a half and felt like I did when I was pregnant, sick throughout the day and night, tired and very irritated. So my dr just prescribed low-ogestrel instead. I can't find much info about it anywhere so was wondering if anyone could tell me their experiences taking it. Thanks.

I'm not sure if I have exactly what you have. All I know is my cramps and heavy bleeding would keep me in bed for days vomiting and even with high fevers. One day when I was 13 they had to take me to the ER, it was so bad. The doctor put me on low-ogestrel. I can't really speak of any sexual side effects because I'm one of those wait-till-marriage kind of folks. But other than that I have had no problem whatsoever with this medicine. I've been on it almost 6 years. The cramps have lessened so much so that I don't even have to take any medication with them except for once in a blue moon. The bleeding is often very light and lasts like three days tops where as before it would last like 9 days. Everyone my age keeps saying how horrible BC pills are but they've been a miracle for me.
