Question Identification Question

I just found small white pill on my nephew that I think is a painkiller but cant seem to find any pics on the PDR online. I have experience with these type things but do not recognize this particular pill and want to make sure what it is before I accuse him of anything in front of his parents. Its a small, round white pill, with an M on one side, and on the bottom of the other side of the pill is a small 5. Anyone know if this is a narcotic or specifically what it is? Thank you.

Re: Identification Question

Does anyone have any ideas? I guess I'll just hand it to them, but I know by the way he was acting that SOMETHING was up when I confronted him on it.

Atenolol (50MG tablets/round/beta blocker) is a small, white pill with a capital "M" on one side and "231" (in very small numbers) on the reverse side. I take Atenolol myself for high blood pressure. It sounds like the same pill to me but I am not an expert. Atenolol is non-narcotic.

Re: Identification Question

I checked out the pic, then i realized i left out that the M on the pill has a square around it, not just a large M. Shouldve mentioned this earlier Any ideas?
