Retin-A with erthromyacin?

Can these two be used at the same time? Or maybe one at night and one during the day?

Re: Retin-A with erthromyacin?

Anyone know? I am currently using both at the same time. Hopefully they aren't affecting the effectiveness of each other...

They can both definitely be used at the same time. Retin-a basically unplugs your pores to stop the bacteria from building up in them and erythromycin is an antibiotic that kills the bacteria, so they complement each other quite well. Infact there is a med out there that has both in it - aknemycin plus - i used it a few months ago and it worked great, lots of peeling and took about 3 months to clear completely though. The combination you're on seems like a good one to me so hang in there!

I am currently using Retin A Micro and Cleocin T lotion. It is the 4th day and I see alot of peeling but I remember using the lotion before so i know this must happen in order for beautiful skin.

Great thanks! I just wanted to make sure since it took me about two weeks before I found out using retin-A and BP together was a no no!
