Ear Fullness...

Hello everyone, I have posted on here before but not so much lately...

About 6 months ago I got somewhat dizzy, naseated, and had full ears...etc... but nothing drastic enough to where I fell over or anything... but still was not pleasant, that lasted for almost two months... then I moved past the constant dizzy/naseated feeling to just the ear feeling... and now this has lasted FOREVER... like I can move muscles in my head that make my ears make that noise of "release"... and sometimes they just do it all by themselves or when I swallow. Sometimes it feels exactly like after you've gone swimming and your ears are ful of water, and then it started to release and flows out... except mine just makes all the noises and gives me hope only to realize that nothing is happening at all... just noises. So I continue to go on feeling "clostrophobic in the head" and "anxious" about what this could be. It is very very annoying and the more I think about it... or the more I have to study or get nervous about something the worse it gets. I've seen an ENT twice and everything is hunky-dorey... so that does'nt help much. I just want to feel normal again, and I know some of you have suffered with stuff for years and years... but I just don't want too... this inhibits both my present life and also the dreams I still have to get

Oh yeah and one question... for you people that have had ear problems for years and years... is it constant? Or does it come and go with like certain conditions... because this is pretty constant and unrelenting.

Thanks to those of you who have made it through my incredibly looonnngggg post. And thanks also fro any advice you may have... "edifying" advice is always appreciated as well... especcially with the lack of answers I seem to be getting.

Thanks everyone,

Dustin

Re: Ear Fullness...

Hi Dustin, from what have described it sounds like you may have a problem with blocked eustacian tubes. Do a bit of research into it and see if it fits, xx

Re: Ear Fullness...

As already suggested it definately sounds like the eustacian tubes are blocked. Supposed to clear all by itself eventually, but I don't buy that. Try wide mouth yawning, holding nose closed and blowing (not too hard, don't want damage). Towel covered head over a steaming bowl of hot water with some 'Vicks' in it, and breathe. Salt spray inhaler. If nothing works get back to the medico and insist they check further.
