Unhappy Anxiety Problems I think!

Hey every1 please read what ive got to say and help me if you can!

I really appreciate it!

Right heres the story its long but relavant (sorry):

Over the past few months i started to notice my heart beat. I could be sat on my bed doing nothing and i will feel a pulsating feeling in my stomach, temples, chest, hands, eveywhere.

I ignored it at first but kept noticing it more and more. I then became concerned and checked my pulse which was slightly fast at around 80 bpm while resting.

My doctor checked it out and i had an ecg which was normal except a slightly high rate.

One night i had real bad chest pains and racing heartbeat and was taken in to hospital. I had blood tests, ecg, ultrasound, x-rays - all fine.

My heart rate went up to 150bpm and stayed this way most of the night. Next day i was let home and told to rest.

Since then the pain has gone and my heart rate has slowed back to around 70 bpm when resting. (I am on verapamil which slows the heart down)

I am starting to think this is all anxiety related.

In November i spilt with my girlfriend. I was only going out with her for a few months but she was one of my first serious girlfriends and i got to really like her. She chose to finish it and at the time i wasnt that bothered.

We are still friends and see each other socially in the pub most weeks. The thing is everytime i think about her i seem to get my fast heart rate and i get so nervous it horrible.

Its like im scared to see her and scared of what she thinks of me.

Everytime i go out with my friends its always in the back of my mind that i mite see her and this makes my heart race. I then get worked up and get hot and lightheaded and feel like im going to faint. Its like a vicious circle the more i think about my heart the faster it gets and the more i think about fainting and having a heart attack. (It goes up to at least 150 bpm)

She is a really nice girl but she makes me feel ill!

I keep making excuses to my friends that ive got to go home just so i dont have to see her, but really i would like to see her if it didnt make me feel like im about to die)

This is made increasingly difficult by the fact she now fancies one of my best mates and he likes her. I feel like i have to force myself to go out to make sure they dont get together and this means staying out while i am feeling like im about to have a heart attack.

My friend wont get with her without me being ok with it and im not! I dont want to get back with her but i dont want to have to see my mate with her neither!

90% of the time my heart races when thinking about things relating to my ex.
It gets worse and worse and as soon as i notice my fast pulse i think about it more and more and it gets worse and worse until i have to go home before i think im gioing to die. After a hour or so i can then be back to normal. (70 bpm)

Is this anxiety??? Its starting to rule my life and stop my enjoying myself socially.

I am a 20 y/o male.

Thank-you so much in advaance for any help. Sorry for the relationship stuff i realise its a bit in depth!

It could be anxiety but for me personally anxiety isn't related to one specific issue. You should speak to your dr. about it.

I always feel like I am going to faint. I feel sick everyday for the past two weeks. I cant sit up for a long period of time. I feel like I'm going to throw up. I am a 22 year old female and no one knows why I feel this way.

Might sound silly, but you could have an inner ear infection
