Glucometer commercials irritate me!

This is probably very trivial but I just feel like venting. I'm so sick of seeing all the commercials for fancy meters that go like
"I'm Superwoman/Superman/Superkid living a fantastic perfect life and I test a zillion times a day with my fancy meter" . Yeah, right. Blah-whatever. I'm stuck with the meter and strips my insurance covers, doing the best I can, and it just annoys me. And I'm not going to lap up/munch on Glucerna shakes and bars, either. Grump, grump.

Your post gave me a good chuckle! I, too, occasionally get really irritated by one commercial or another. Many years ago, I stopped using Whisk laundry detergent because their "ring around the collar" commercial was SO annoying...like all us women have nothing to worry about but getting our husbands' shirt collars clean. Sheesh.

The glucometer commercials that annoy me now are the ones that say arm-testing is painless. Well, I'd much prefer to use my fingertips, thank you very much, and those commercials don't even metion that you can't use your arms to verify low blood sugar.
