I have to share a new find of mine (and see if anyone else has experienced this also).
Recently (for about a week now), I have been putting moisturizer on in the morning before makeup. I would use one previously; however, I never actually applied much, just enough to make my skin not feel tight. Now, I put on a healthy amount (between 1 and 2 teaspoons) and rub it all in. Not only has my skin felt better, but it doesn't get as oily as it usually does AND I don't have to blot as often.
It could be a combination of things: the moisturizer (Oil of Olay Complete Moisture Lotion w/ SPF 15 for Sensitive Skin), the fact that I actually put on enough to help now, my skin routine...
(I recently started Benzaclin in the morning, after which I apply the Oil of Olay lotion, and Differin Cream at night, not followed by any moisturizer. I cleanse with Cetaphil Normal to Oily. Before this, I think I was using too many and too harsh products, which could have made my skin more oily by irritating the heck out of it.)
