Unhappy Feel Sleepy All The Time is this normal? :(

I am currently taking .5 synthroid and 5mg cytomel and my tsh, t3, t4 are in good range. I also feel much better ever since I have started cytomel. However, I just feel sleepy all day. When I lay down at night I am sleep within half n hour or less. I am also anemic its genetic so I cant take iron for that. I dont know what is causing so much sleepyness. i go to sleep around 10-11 and get up at 7 am in the weekdays and on weekend i sleep late and get up pretty late. Does anyone else feel this sleepy all the time?

I do!!! I dosed off this morning while reading the paper. Most times when I sit down, I fall asleep. Driving has become more difficult for me. I'm just plain exhausted! Not currently medicated. Will find out all test results next Thursday... Don't know what to tell you since I've yet to get my diagnosis. You're not alone!!

I'm like Julie - I fall asleep at the computer too. Don't drive much right now- one car and don't work - but I especially get sleepy/tired after eating even a small amount. I just don't eat if I know I have to do something. Going on a trip of 1300 miles one way on Saturday - ought to be interesting.

Post your TSH, T4 and T3 and the ranges. That helps the people here who know about labs to help you with them. Also, you have hashi's which I know NOTHING about. Except that I am glad I don't have it! I feel for all of you that do and the Graves people and the cancer people. I am really very fortunate. Without this site I would be having a pity party of one all the time.

When do you take the iron? MUST be at least 4 hours after Synthroid - don't know about cytomel.

Take care. You WILL make it!!!!!
