Scabies: new cure? A new lice cure may do it

The journal Pediatrics reports a new OTC way to cure lice, and i was wondering if anyone has tried it to cure scabies of the scalp? It "shrink wraps lice in drying creme" and asphyxiates them. So i reason that it may also kill scabies thereby, mates. Current scabies cures are RX and take overnight soak and bedding change. Euck. Lots of hurdles. Let me know what you think of this as a scabies cure.

PS the article also gives valuable debunking of some of the hard work currently done to cure lice. CR mag is highly respected here in the US and takes no ads , so it is seen as independent.. close to being as indep. as a gov agency, .. we lack a gov agency for many consumer testing chores, alas alas.

thank you a lot,
john.. who you may remember as the guy who posted a lot on bedsore prevention cushions last year.
