Exposure risk. (test results update)

right my possible HIV exposure timeline goes like this...

3 weeks before my exposure, i had some unrelated bloodwork done. (i was a virgin). at the same time a good friend of mine (female) had bloodwork done as well on the same day. On msn we discussed this and whatnot as friends would. i asked what she was being tested for out of curiosity and she said "Everything".

2 weeks later, we were both at a party and both drinking (not unusual). we have kissed and whatnot before in the past but nothing sexual. she was on off with her boyfriend at the time and so we ended up kissing, we went elsewhere and stupidly we had some very clumsy unprotected vaginal sex, my penis was out alot of the time (hope that would have killed some of the virus(if there was any anyway) beacuse of the exposure of air. It lasted 4-5mins and wasnt deep or serious. just really foolish. We both decided to end it.

Afterwards and a few days later i started getting worried knowing that she has got an older boyfriend (19, me being 16). she came back to me on msn saying "good news, im all clear no STDs or anything". i felt so relieved, nearly completely stopped worrying. But i was curious about HIV beacuse i like finding out about things like that. It was after some research that i discovered the 3month conclusive mark. i enquired about this to her and she said she had used protection with her boyfriend everytime except breifly 4 months before the test but with some oral but that doesnt bother me too much due to how extremely hard it is to transmit. i still intended to get test through all this just in case. I then asked her about condom splittages she mentioned one 6+weeks before her test with her boyfriend but she assured me that the condom was changed straight away. (could anyone indicate the risks here). only precum could have been involved and i know that doesnt have a large concentration of HIV in it. and the the tip of the condom would have had to of split for anything to have leaked out i assume.

Anyway. at the moment, i am not overly worried due to her being tested and how brief our exposure was and my symptoms. Ive had no flu or temp. i had a rash on my cheast but that only appeared when i was in tenerife and was exposed to light, it was gone in the morning then it came back when i was in the sun. after i got a base tan it didnt happen at all so i assume that it was nothing to do with ARS. i had a sorethroat but that is common for me being asthmatic and the fact i wasnt keeping up with my inhaler beacuse of the late nights and getting up in the afternoon, i normaly get sorethroats simillar to the one that i got intenerife when this happens. i had also swallowed a lot of pool water which i could tell wasnt being cleaned often beacuse it was out of season. i remember it tasting dodgey.

One last query... prior to my encounter i had a patch of verrucas, not painfull or anything. due to my paranoa about things beacuse of the HIV and everything i paid particular attention to the patch often rubbing them with wet hands (this is a common way of spreading verrucas i understand) and i didnt wear socks with my shoes all week in tenerife and my feet were wet beacuse of the pool alot. would ARS attribute to infections like verrucas spreading?

Anyway, the point of this topic is for some advice as to how high my risk is now? i have spoken to my GP yesterday after wating the 90+days. i need to call her on thursday to arrange a test and conselling (is HIV concelling normal?what does it involve?). i have had no herpes outbreaks, discharge, syphillis symptoms or clahmydia chancres. but i shall get tested for STD but im not too worried abotu this beacuse of how early they can show up on smears. the only thing that is bugging me is the condom break around 6weeks before her test.

so any opinions would be nice.

sorry for writing such a legnthy topic and thanks in advance.

!!

Re: Exposure risk opinions please.

hello, you can't tell anything from symtoms so they don't matter that much the only way you will know is by getting tested, it sounds from what you have said you are at a low risk, but i was told the same and the worst happened so you never know for sure.
go get your test and protect your self in the future and don't trust others and let you guard down so you won't have any doubts. good luck
