bpm

i have been put on lisinopril 2.5 does anyone know what time of day i should take them and any bad effects of them

Lisinopril should be taken with a full glass of water. I don't think there are any time-of-day advantages, so just space them as evenly as you can.

You should look for the allergic reactions such as hives, rash, throat swelling, difficulty breathing, fever, etc. - the same things you should look out for when starting up on any medicine.

There are some more minor side effects of this drug class, one of which is coughing.

do you take them i take palpitations and it says on the packet they can cause palpitations so i havent took them yet as i am afraid i make them worse any advice

I don't take it anymore. I used to. I had a problem with a drug of the same class (Altace) in which my throat would close up and breathing became difficult.

I only took lisinopril for a very short time, and had no side effects from it that I can recall, except for a little "cough". The doctor changed my therapy away from it.

Does your doctor know you have palpitations? If he/she doesn't know I think I would call before I took this medicine.
