INcreasing Food allergies/// HELP!!!!

Okay, long story short I keep getting more and more food allergies. No doc can figure out what's going on.

I had a Comprehensive Digestive Stool Analysis and Parisitology x2 done at Doctor's Data.. The doc thought we'd find something but everything came back normal except for low beneficial bacteria.

Now, I've had 2 abnormal gallbladder tests in the past, which showed a thickening of the gallbladder wall and the gallbladder being contracted. It also showed a ejection rate of 27% when the normal average is 40%.

I have 2 questions. One, can the CDSA test actually miss something like Candida or parasites?

Second, can a malfunctioning gallbladder cause increased food allergies?

The reason I ask these is because that darn CDSA didn't show anything in the realm of malabsorbtion or anything, so I'm really worried that this won't get fixed, and I'll eventually be able to eat nothing..

Help please if you have info or experience.
Thanks
Scott

Cool Re: INcreasing Food allergies/// HELP!!!!

Dear Sco24:

Has your doctor tested for Celiac Disease? It was not until a couple of years ago that I was diagnosed and found out I could not tolerate wheat and gluten. I met will an Allergy doctor after the diagnosis and he tested me for 97 different types of food allergies. In addition to the wheat and gluten I found out I was allergic to coffee, milk, peanuts, etc.

Celiac leads to so many different issues and possibly other autoimmune diseases if it goes undetected. You can have bloodwork called a Celiac Panel done. This is a good starting point. However, your gastroenterologist would probably want to run other tests to make a diagnosis. Good luck!

Re: INcreasing Food allergies/// HELP!!!!

If you don't have enough good bacteria in your body then try taking a probiotic. Garden of Life is a brand that makes a good probiotic. You can also try either NSC-24 immunition beta glucan or NSC-100 immunition beta glucan. I have allergies and I tried this product. I had a free ten day sample. This stuff regulates your immune system. This stuff cleared up my sinuses big time. I couldn't believe it. I was almost able to get off my allergy meds. It worked well so I bought it. I'm gonna see if I'll be able to get off my meds or not.
