Daughter is 4 weeks post 3 level ALIF & TLIF

Hi,
Yesterday was my 26 yr. old daughters 4 week "anniversary" post 3 level
(S1-L5, L5-L4,L4-L3) Anterior & Posterior surgery. She is doing so well! Her pain meds percocet is down to 1 every 8 hrs and she says she should be totally off of them by the end of next week if the pain continues to dissipate.

She says she feels better than she has in over 3 1/2 years! Today she had one of the R.N.'s that took care of her in the hospital, over for lunch and she cooked an entire Chinese meal. She said she is pretty tired this evening but it felt GREAT to be able to do something productive again. (She had been pretty much bedridden for the past 2 yrs.)

It is so good to hear positive factors with back surgeries. I needed that encouragement. So happy for your daughter.

Great news!!!!! I to think all of these positive storys help us. Before finding this place all I heard were nightmares about fusion!!!
