Is Placidyl still used for sleep?

Hello,

Years ago, I used a medication called Placidyl for assistance with sleep. Does anyone here use this medication? As I remember, you could only use it for a few days because it rapidly lost its effectiveness. However, it worked very well for me the few times I needed it.

Thank you for any current information you might have.

Sincerely,

Not used - pretty sure- mostly because it is highly addictive. People can get a high from it.

No true experience with sleep med's, only avoiding them. I use my CPAP and sleep hygiene to try and solve my issues though sleeping pills are necessary in some cases they should not be used long term.

Sincerely,
MG
