Hello everyone,
I have a new question. I had tested positive in the past (several times) for being hypothryoid and was prescribed medicine. One time my TSH level was 11. something. To be honest, I did not take it the way I was suppose to. I hate m medicine. When I started having lyme symptoms (did not know thats what it was) I went in to see the doctor. After numerous tests and months later they finally decided to do lab work. It showed positive for lyme but somehow they said my TSH and T4 were normal which was strange because it had not been normal in years.
The new doctor I seen twice here (not the specialist and knows nothing about lyme) ordered a full workup. They just told me I need to come in and discuss my thyroid level. Said that it was not real high but a little over the limit. Now I am wondering are my issues lyme, thyroid or both.
My appt with the lyme doctor is 6-11. I am just concerned because I know that this could get really EXPENSIVE

but I also know the longer I wait the worse it could get.
Here are a few of my issues: And I do know some can be thyroid related but main issue is facial tingling and numbness and I have this head shaking thing that comes on, mainly when I am in a resting state, like watching TV, laying down, etc. My husband said I even do it in my sleep. I am also very tired all the time, everything aches, joints hurt, loss about 20 lobs in 6 weeks but still have appetite. Arm goes numb. Feel like I am losing my mind sometime, brain fog, anxiety, chest pains.
Does anyone suffer with both? Any input? This is the only place where I seem to get any answers, so thanks!!
