Just terribly frustrated

Hello Everyone,

Well here is the latest to what is going on with me. Earlier this week I posted my Lyme results from IgeneX. I tested positve for four bands. Two bands were Indeterminate. According to the CDC to be diagnosed a person has to be positve in at least five bands.

I have not met with my LLMD doctor to discuss the results from IgeneX yet. The reason is that he ordered additional blood tests and is waiting to see the results. I had 17, (yes 17) tubes of blood drawn yeasterday. It was extremely dificult to do. The symptoms I have are relentless dizziness, fatigue, confusion (brain fog), and about 30 others. It is very hard to drive myself around anymore. I had good old mom to drive me to the lab yesterday. I feel really frustrated that at age 40 I should be in the prime of my life. I can't get an answer to these symptoms. I just feel like I go day after day feeling like hell and I expect something awfull will happen to me.

Anyways, anybody here of these tests and if any are associated with Lyme disease?

Coccido AB, Sulfhemoglubin, Serum for Osmolarity, Coxsullia, Babesia, HgG/Hme, Chalmydia AB, NA, CBC, Antithrombin 3 B, Anticardiolipid AB, Serum Viscosity, hitoplasmosis AB, Crypto AB, C6 Peptide...

Well thanks for reading and letting me vent some.

Re: Just terribly frustrated

Hi bigstan. Do you see Dr. L? Believe me, many people who have Lyme do not test CDC positive. A knowledgeable doctor knows this.

I am not familiar with all of these tests, but it looks like he tested you for Babeisosis and both types of Ehrlichiosis (HME & HGE). Do you know which lab did these tests?

Your symptoms do sound Lyme related to me. It can be hard going through treatment and it can take time, but you absolutely can get better with proper treatment. Never forget this, okay!

Re: Just terribly frustrated

bigstan,

I understand your frustration. I am turning 29 next week...and realized that MY ENTIRE 20's have been filled with 60 symptoms , docs offices, no answers... it's very hard, I know....

it does sound from all your posts that you do have lyme.... hopefully you have a good llmd..... I'm not to strong in faith in mine... we'll see if he's changed his tune this month. and if you don't, you find another.... you make sure you get copies of the labs you have had done, and go from there....

but I believe that some of these tests will show up lyme, and that you'll be on the road to recovery....

ps, I did 14 tubes of blood .... I feel your pain.... I was not a happy camper....

good luck...and don't give up....
