elbow pain, causing fingers to be sore

having post polio is very difficult sometimes, due to so many people not understanding the condition we live with daily.
however I do have a question: has anyone ever experienced elbow pain, i experience it at night, and waking up in the morning, with my fingers aching so badly. the thing is ,having polio as an infant, it was my right leg that got most affected, not my upper body.
any advice or comments would be helpful.
i do intend to mention to my doc.
