Shingles Vaccine

I recieved a Shingles Vaccine about 2 weeks ago. I now have (what I thought were insect bites) they have eruptions on them, is it possible to get a case of shingles from the vaccine? I'm not ill, other than the itching. I'm 68, I had chicken pox as a child, and a very mild case of shingles in my 40's .

Re: Shingles Vaccine

Some folks get a chickenpox like rash after getting the shingles vax.

Also, the shingles vax doesn't always work, so you could (possibly) get another full blown out break even though you were vaccinated.

Since it's so close to when you got the shot my guess would be the vax rash. Have your doc take a look at it.
