Scalp Pain/Tenderness, What Causes It?

I have Graves and Hashimoto's disease of the thyroid. My endocrinologist suspects I may have other autoimmune diseases and I am waiting for the test results to come back sometime this week or next week.

I am very symptomatic since all of this began for me in Febuary 2009 and my symptoms have been growing and evolving into new things.

I just discovered that I have scalp pain or senstivity/tenderness at the top/crown area of scalp. I reached up with brush my hair back with my fingers this morning after waking up and my "hair hurt" or better stated, when I moved my hair, it hurts my scalp.

Does anyone else have this and if so, do you know which autoimmune disease this may be associated with? Thanks!
