Anyone heard of this???
I went to my doctor for a complete physical and demanded an echo as well.
I went to a local hospital to have it done and they found some mild tricuspid regurg and mild pulmonary hypertension. Right ventricular systolic pressure elevated.
Mild pulmonary hypertension? She sent me to have CT Chest w/Contrast that showed ground glass nodules and prominence of whatever. (two stress tests confirmed no pulmonary hypertension)
I went to the Lung specialist she suggested and was told "they may have over read the test". Hmmmm.
This same hospital ER wanted tp admit me as a "heart" patient --no knowledge of the above tests in any file here--due to my complaint of feeling I am having a gallbladder attack shortly after taking a codeine pain reliever. Hooked up to everything for hours. Given aspirin and all types of stuff. My middle hurt like gallbladder pain. Upper gastric. From the older tylenol w/codeine I took?
No heart problems were found. (ER attending still urging me to go into NEW HEART CENTER, just in case)
All heart tests performed by my doctor at a different hospital ruled out any heart problems. (Origninal hosp ER never treated me for a possible reaction to codeine. Stomach was in pain for weeks. As if someone kicked me)
I have a funny feeling about the melanoma they found right before their special cancer unit opened, now.
