Hi my name is Edna: For the past 2 years I have had increasing pain at the tips of my fingers they swell up and pain is ongoing...and all of a sudden it will stop...but it always comes back...I am having tests done...and they have found something but won't tell me what until I see the specialist...which is in 2 months, I know they are checking me for auto-immune stuff..but I don't know what...serum immunoglobulin quantitation is one and the other is serum immunoelectrophoresis is the other one...these where the last two blood tests I had...now I wait...but this past 2 weeks my whole body seems to be over heating on the inside...its driving me crazy...it makes me feel yucky...can you tell me what that might be...or at least give me some ideas..I am frustrated to say the least...
