pain on right side

I've been having this sporadic pain under the right side of my rib cage, and at times it's very sharp and then goes away, but for the last few days it's become too noticeable not to question it. I'm 55, female and have tachycardia and have had an ablation done 4 mos. ago....if that matters. I'm assuming it's either my gallbladder or my liver, though I don't know why my liver would be acting up.

Could very well be gallbladder. Have it checked.

Hi, I had really bad pain in my upper stomach region, and along with it was 3 days of sweats, I would heat up and my whole body would be drenced. Worse then a hot flash and would last for 4 or 5 hours at a time. I felt like someone was squeezing my chest, had a migraine, I went into the E R the orderly said by what I was saying he knew it was my gallbladder. I had a cat scan and ultrasound and my gallbladder is enlarged, my stomach got huge and I am gassy. I also have gallstones floating around. I am scheduled for surgery next week, you should not wait to see a doctor, because if your get gallstones etc once, they will come back and then you risk infection and that is life threatening.
