Ocular MG and generalized MG ???'s

Hi everyone!

After being followed by a MS specialist for the past 2 years (due to a brain lesion from facial numbness) I have been released and cleared of a MS dx. The lesion cleared and there have been no new ones. He feels it was just a viral incident. I have had some really odd things happen, but nothing that could really be connected to any one disease.

Well, I think I got a diagnosis, but not one that I would have ever expected or one that I ever even researched. MG. Wow. In the past year, I noticed my left eye starting to droop. I do not have any vision problems, just the drooping. My neuro did bloodwork (negative of course) but was hesitant on the Tensilon test b/c of the side effects. We did the ice test, which did raise my eyelid.

What I would like to know is, how many of you have started out like this? Did you progress to muscle weakness? How bad was the weakness...could you not walk, or just soreness? How long did it take for you to make any progression after the drooping began? It's been almost a year since this drooping began. I have noticed in the past 4 days or so, that my legs feel very sore, liked I've worked out for the first time in months. Once I stay off them for couple hours, they feel a bit better. I don't know if my mind is playing tricks on me or what.

It felt good to get a diagnosis...I really felt like my family was starting to think I was crazy. I'm really anxious to hear what anyone you have to say.
