Adjusting Testosterone injections

I'll try to be brief.
A little more than a year ago I began testosterone cypionate injections 150mg IM once per week.I was under the supervision of one of the areas top cardiologists.
The problem was that he didn't accept insurance at his clinic for these treatments. It was costing me an arm and a leg, which I really could not afford. He wouldn't write me a prescription so I could fill it at my pharmacy...I had to pay him top dollar for his compounding pharmacy to send me a vial of T when I needed a refill.
It took me about 7 months before I began to feel the benefits of the therapy and after a year I was feeling very well.I hadn't felt very well for about 6 or 7 years.
I knew I wanted to continue, but I also knew I couldn't afford to continue treatment with this doctor. That said I am profoundly greatfull that he did treat me.
At this point I began to look for an endo to take over monitoring me.The 1st one was a pompus butthead about 65 years of age and would not treat me with testosterone. This guy though he could learn nothing more about endochronology because he had recieved his doctorate at Cornell.
I provided him with research studies from the Top Universities and a book authored by Dr Shippen.
He just handed them back to me.
I moved on to another endo.
I explained to her how I was feeling before treatment began and how I was feeling now......much better.
Also that my cholesterol numbers were beginning to normalize and my blood glucose was no longer a concern.
She had my blood tested....the problem was that it had only been 3 days after my last injection of testosterone and the number came back 960 ng.
Both she and my primary care said this was way too high.
I was feeling quite fine though.
I explained to the endo that it had only been 3 days since the last shot when we did a blood draw.
So we drew blood again 7 days after my last shot.My T came back at 700ng....she was happy and my primary care doc was satisfied.
She suggested that I go from weekly to twice monthly shots...I refused...but compromised with 150mg every 10 days.
Okay....now my next blood draw was 3 months later 10 days after my last shot and that T measurement came bake at 520 ng.
She was happy with that but I was not.
I could feel a big difference in well being....my attitude and emotions were not even and rational. And my cholesterol numbers were climbing again where as before they were perfectly normal on the weekly regimine.
I hadn't had normal cholesterol numbers in 10 years before that...they were always too high no matter how hard I watched my diet.
SO anyway...here I am at 150mg every 10 days....on paper...but I've decided to do 100mg every 7 days.
Already I am feeling normalized and it's just been 4 weeks.
Any thoughts on this?

Re: Adjusting Testosterone injections

I'm not sure if I can help you but I am a lot like you. 11 months ago I stated on 200mg depo every 3 weeks. After 1 week I was at 1005 but near the end of the 3RD I was 320 which was lower than I started. I felt pretty good for 2 weeks and like crap the other. I wanted to change to every 2 weeks but he said no that that would be too much. He said I could go on 100mg every 2 weeks which was even worse so I changed it to every 10 days. I'm not loving that either so what I'm thinking is maybe 100 mg each week or 200mg every 21/2 weeks. Isn't the whole thing about us keeping our T high enough is to feel normal? We have to keep up with our testing. Since my Endo would not work with me, I'm taking saliva tests for my T.I kind of like the 150mg once a week like you were taking but my doctor would flip out. Thats what I think. What do you think?
