Update - 29 y/o & on testosterone for about 2 months

I started out with my T level at about 150. Doctor put me on Androgel but my skin didn't tolerate it because of the alcohol. I had itchy, red skin that turned into a rash. Switched to Testim but that lasted about a day because of the horrible smell. I've been on injections for about 7 weeks. I inject 100mg every week.

I got the test results last week and my T level is at about 325. Free T is at 14. I was told that these are "within the acceptable range" but they're on the low end. For someone my age (29), I think it should be higher and closer to mid- to upper-range. I did ask about that and the doctor advised that it can take some time to reach those levels and that I should continue with the same dose. I need to have it checked again in about six weeks. The test was done 3 days after my weekly injection. I do them myself at home.

I don't really feel any effects other than slight weight gain (5 pounds) but that could be attributed to anything. I feel the same mood-wise and my health is the same. I don't expect it to be a miracle overnight and am going to be patient but I really want to start feeling better soon.

I originally had it tested because I have been on numerous anti-depressants, mood stabilizers, and anti-anxiety meds for 7 years that never really worked. I finally had a doctor question my hormone levels and had all of it tested. I'm hoping to get off of the psych meds completely and the current theory is that raising my T level will solve this problem.
